Chicago Alumnae Chapter proudly sponsors several programs that focus on the Educational Thrust of Delta’s 5 Point Programmatic Thrust. They include:

Delta Gems was created as an expansion of the Delta Academy program. It goals are to “catch the dreams” of African American at-risk, adolescent girls aged 14-18.
Delta Literacy Project
The purpose of the Delta Literacy Project is to help decrease the illiteracy rate among adults in the Chicago area. The project has a staff of volunteer tutors, the majority being members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
The EMBODI (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence) program is designed to refocus the efforts of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., with the support and action of other major organizations, on the plight of African-American males.
