February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month!

In keeping with Chicago Alumnae Chapter’s Domestic Violence Awareness Initiative and to highlight issues of domestic and sexual violence among teens, the Chicago Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will host a symposium entitled “Deltas Bringing Chicago Together Safely: A Health Symposium for Teens and Adults on Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention” on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Chicago State University, 4th Floor Library, from 10am until Noon.

This symposium will provide information for teens and their guardians. There will be separate group sessions targeting boys, girls and adults. Immediate on-site assistance will be available.
